Anemone is a small-scale artisan-experimental fashion project where everything is made to order or in very small productions in the form of unique pieces.
The aim is to explore concepts of craft and femininity to subvert the stereotypes of feminine aesthetics and fashion trends – no gender garments – design for different bodies and experiment with new fabrics and techniques.The name of this project came from the “anemone flower” that was a flower loaded with symbolism in ancient Greece and where its name means “the daughter of the wind”. If we pay attention to mythology, Cefiro, the god of the wind who heralds spring, fell madly in love with a nymph, whom his jealous wife turned into a flower, Anemone, the flower of intense love.
